A native son of Situbondo, has spread his wings to conquer economic and political challenges. Today, at the age of 40, he has opened the world’s eyes to a dedicated young man who serves the community, especially marginalized groups.
And yes, he is Mas Rio. As a youth, he held lofty aspirations: to lead Situbondo toward a better future. He envisioned his hometown with modern infrastructure, quality education, and abundant job opportunities. His spirit inspired many, particularly the millennial generation.
His achievements are immeasurable. He built economic initiatives, pioneered training programs for young people, and advocated for the self-reliance of small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM). Every step he took was met with enthusiasm by the people of Situbondo. They saw Mas Rio as a splash of hope, a leader who cared and remained committed.
Yet, the journey was not always smooth. Complex bureaucracy, limited finances, and conflicting interests tested him. Mas Rio never gave up. He continued to fight, turning the wheels of change with unwavering determination.
May, at 40 years old, Mas Rio find ease in all his endeavors. His vision for Situbondo draws closer to reality. He remains an inspiration to the younger generation because, as he often says, Tak co Ngocoah, Tak Co’ Ngeco’a.
Happy 40, Mas Rio..
